The 45 year old Dutch DJ and producer helped popularize the big room “trance” sound, and continues to top lists of biggest earning DJs in the world. While he’s released countless singles and mix albums he’s hard at work on what will be only his fifth album release and we already have the first single it’s called “Wasted” and features Matthew Koma on vocals. “Drinks After Work” is the Song Stuck in our Head

He just released his 17th studio album, named after one of the Slacker staff’s favorite activities, “Drinks After Work.”

Foxes’ “Youth” is the Song Stuck in My Head

Screen Shot 2013-10-04 at 8.15.50 AMEnglish singer Louisa Rose Allen, otherwise known as Foxes, released her single “Youth” way back in early 2012. But now that Zedd’s “Clarity” (on which she sings vocals) has become a worldwide smash, there’s suddenly a little more interest in Foxes.

“Youth” is now being re-released, and its dramatic style should please fans of Lorde or Lana Del Rey.

Song Stuck in My Head: The Killers “Shot at the Night”

The-Killers-472x472The Killers burst onto the scene back in 2003 with “Mr. Brightside.” Their debut album “Hot Fuss” ended up selling over 7 million copies worldwide. Appropriately enough, they’re releasing a greatest hits album on November 11th.

“Direct Hits” features two new songs including “Shot at the Night,” produced by Anthony Gonzalez a.k.a. M83.

Two Door Cinema Club Team Up With Madeon for a Song Stuck in Our Heads

2DOOR-472x472We have a new song stuck in our heads today and it comes from Northern Ireland three-piece Two Door Cinema Club.

Two Door Cinema Club always had some dance influence in their indie rock sound, but for their latest single “Changing of the Seasons” they brought on French producer Madeon, a rising star in the electronic dance music scene, for an even more electronic vibe. Combining these two power players has resulted in a track that is beautifully composed with an uplifting dance vibe.

New Song Stuck in My Head: Sara Evans “Slow Me Down”

EVANS-472x472Singer-songwriter Sara Evans was born in Missouri, but like many of her fellow country stars, eventually made her way to Nashville.

She’s released six studio albums and is hard at work on her seventh (due early next year) but we already have the first single, “Slow Me Down.”

Slacker’s Song Stuck In My Head is Robin Thicke’s “Give It 2 U”

“Blurred Lines” is behind only “Thrift Shop” as the biggest selling single of 2013, and it topped the Billboard charts for 11 straight weeks, the most of any song this decade.

The follow-up from his new album “Blurred Lines” is called “Give It 2 U.” It features Kendrick Lamar, and it’s Slacker’s Song Stuck In My Head. Listen to his new single on demand right here. 

“Elevate” is a New Song Stuck in Our Head!

SongStuck-StLucia-472x472Even if you’ve never heard of St. Lucia, you may have heard his voice. His first hit “All Eyes On You” was in a few TV commercials, and he sang on The Knocks’ indie dance hit “Modern Hearts.”

His debut full length album is due soon, for now fans of ’80s-influenced electronic pop like M83 or Twin Shadow will enjoy his new single called “Elevate.”
