The Slacker Tour is Heading to Los Angeles for Culture Collide 2013!

The fourth annual Culture Collide Festival returns to Los Angeles this October 10-12, bringing three days of incredible music, art, film and more to Echo Park. As one of the most buzzed about festivals of the fall season, Culture Collide will welcome performances by some of our favorite international artists – and Slacker will be there to take part in the festivities.

We are gearing up the Slacker Tour truck so make sure to stop by! The truck will be in the parking lot of Taix French Restaurant located at 1911 W. Sunset Blvd. 

We will be handing out free 1 month premium memberships to Slacker Radio as well as tons of goodies like bags, t-shirts, and cool SWAG. Plus, high score winners of our High Striker Guitar Game can win one full year of Slacker Premium.

The Slacker Tour is Headed for Mayhem

Screen Shot 2013-06-27 at 5.04.58 PMThe 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival kicks of this Saturday June 29th through August 4th and the Slacker Tour is heading to three shows beginning with this Saturday’s show at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.

The Mayhem Fest  is featuring Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, Amon Amarth, Machine Head Behemoth and more. Plus this year’s tour will, for the first time, feature four stages – The Rockstar Energy Drink Main Stage, The Jagermeister Stage, Musicians Institute Stage and the Sumerian/Headbang For The Highway Concourse Stage which will feature local bands performing. Slacker Heads to Beale Street Music Festival

1400The 2013 Beale Street Music Festival, taking place May 3-5 in Tom Lee Park,marks the 37th anniversary of the festival, which each year attracts music enthusiasts from all 50 states and a dozen foreign countries to the storied city where rock-n-roll and blues music all began.

Slacker will be heading to Memphis, Tennessee – along with thousands of other music fans for the multistage three-day event, best known for its eclectic mix of contemporary rock, blues, soul and modern talent and its musically inspired setting.

The festival is held in a beautiful 25 acre riverfront park at the foot of historic Beale Street overlooking the mighty Mississippi River.

Announcing the Slacker Tour 2013 Kick Off

Slacker Tour at SXSW 2013We have some news that we just can’t wait any longer to share. All of us at Slacker have decided to take the show on the road. Literally. Thats right – Slacker is going on tour.

It’s going to be like the circus – but better.

It will unfold like an adventurous road trip – but in a much bigger car.

Most importantly –  it will bring Slacker, the world’s most complete music service, directly into the hands of all you music fans and listeners.

We kick off next week at South By Southwest, where we will unveil our custom 75-foot touring rig, complete with a concert stage, demo stations and a luxury VIP lounge. Take a look!

The rig will travel the country with stops at top music festivals, sporting events, and entertainment destinations where we will host exclusive concerts, parties and showcases with some of your favorite artists and bands. The Slacker 2013 Tour will make dozens of stops – from Beale Street Music Festival to Country Jam Colorado.
