Sure the reptile guy was always a solid school assembly but imagine what it was like to head to the gymnasium at 930am and see RHCP?!

Not only did their Great Pumpkin headlining show rock the Viewpoint student body, their performance may have squashed a nasty beef with multi-talented 80s heart throb, Mr. Scott Baio. You read that right.

Let me break it down for you. RHCP drummer, Chad Smith and Baio, both send their kids to Viewpoint…and when Donald Trump was bragging about grabbing “p*ssy” , as noted in “When You’re A Star, You Can Do Anything” celebrity handbook, Chad’s wife, Nancy, confronted Baio for being a Trump supporter. Sadly, the situation escalated, Baio filed assault charges which were ultimately dismissed but that probably didn’t make school any less awkward for the parents or the kids.

Fast Forward to The Great Pumpkin Show and the curiosity was killing me. Could they, would they hug it out?

So no, maybe they’re wasn’t an onstage collab of Higher Ground but Baio did give a standing (Bai)O. Probably started as a slow clap in true 80s form. As for whether Baio’s tweet was genuine or hyperbole, I don’t know. Maybe for once, it was a well-intended start of accountability/honesty? Owning mistakes on both sides, apologizing and moving forward.

More importantly, these kids had the sweetest assembly in the history of school assemblies. Even the reptile guy would agree to that.

Flea Finds A Rockstar Fill-In Who Red Hot Chili Peppers Fans Miiight Not Mind.

Of course no one wants Flea to ever leave the Chilis, but maaaaybe it would be okay if it were Koko The Gorilla?? Koko is quite frankly, the sh*t and a rockstar in her own right. She’s 45, she uses sign language to communicate, she’s a prolific artist and celebs understandably want to hang out with her. Better yet, maybe Flea and Koko can do a side project??

Can we call it “HOT KOKO”?? SAY YES. I would definitely buy a ticket to that show.

Learn more about Koko here and you’ll understand why Flea says, “This is the greatest thing that ever happened.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers Narrowly Avert Starring In A “Locked Up Abroad” Episode Thanks To Metallica.

We were called into customs officials office at an airport in Belarus and they asked us to sign a bunch of Metallica cd's and photos. We tried to explain to them that we weren't Metallica but they insisted that we sign anyway. They had the power. Well I did play fight fire with with with Metallica once. I love Metallica anyways but I'm no Robert Trujillo.

As someone who gets pulled out of line by TSA on a regular basis, I can’t imagine the anxiety of getting pulled aside by customs in BELARUS. Now I don’t know a lot about Belarus but my gut says you don’t f*ck with Eastern European officers of any sort. Mall Cops, crossing guards, Belarus babies dressed in cop costumes, etc. So Red Hot Chili Peppers roll thru customs and the officers start insisting they’re Metallica…Flea said they tried to tell them they were not Metallica but Belarus customs wouldn’t take no for an answer. The Chilis soon realized that they should just probably go ahead and sign some swag as Metallica…

Because when Eastern European Custom Officers think you are Metallica, YOU SAY YOU ARE METALLICA.
