Sia’s New Video Is A Tribute To Orlando Shooting Victims

Sia‘s got a new album on the way, called We Are Your Children, and dropped the first taste of what’s in store this week, with a new song and a video that appears to pay tribute to victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting that happened back in June.

This video, like so many of her others, features her “mini-me”, Maddie Ziegler, who wears a dark wig and cries rainbow tears before leading a group of 48 other children in a dance routine. 49 people were killed in the Orlando shooting.

One of the dancers from the project shared this instagram video, saying he is “humbled” to be involved.

Maddie’s mom also shared a still from the video.

We’re Starting To Hear Musical Tributes To Orlando

Just a week after the tragic shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, artists all over the country are starting to release tribute tracks. Christina Aguilera dropped a new song calling for (and called) Change:

Melissa Etheridge performed her new song, Pulse, live this weeekend.

And some of the biggest Broadway stars got together to record this tribute – all of the proceeds from the sale of the song will benefit the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida.

Here at Slacker, our hearts go out to the victims of this senseless tragedy as well. We’ll keep you up to date on further benefit tracks as they become available.
