Chicago’s Fall Out Boy defined the emo/pop punk sound that dominated the 2000s. Their four major label albums were all Top 10 hits, and the band were even nominated for a Grammy for best new artist back in 2006. Bassist and lyricist Pete Wentz says that the band’s new album, “American Beauty/American Psycho,” touches on issues important to him, from modern love to the protests in Ferguson.
