VIDEO: Lea Love “Good For You”

Rising star LEA LOVE, took some time to visit the Slacker Radio studios in San Diego, CA.  A San Diego native herself (hailing from Oceanside),  Lea has been making the rounds in the industry honing her craft as an up and coming singer, songwriter, performer and all around multi-talented artist.  While her roots stem from the R&B scene, she has been crossing genres tapping into the islander-reggae vibe as well.  She’s got a lot of big things in the works, an EP coming this January 2017 & she brings us her latest visual to her new single “Good For You” below (Listen for the feature inside our “Weekly Hip-Hop / RnB Countdown).  Inspired by 90’s Hip Hop & RnB, see if you can pinpoint the sample as Lea puts an urban twist on a classic!  Your comments ALWAYS welcome & MANDATORY…Enjoy!

VIDEO: Bell Biv Devoe “Run”

I’m sure (unless you’ve been living under a rock) you’re quite familiar with the song “Poison” and the infamous lyrics “never trust a big butt and a smile.”  Well the trio of  BELL BIV DEVOE aka BBD are back getting gearing up to drop a new album, their first in some 15 years, “Three Stripes.”  Originally with the 80’s boy band New Edition, which we are all awaiting the upcoming biopic series to drop in 2017, BBD brings us their first single off the upcoming project along with the visual to “Run.”  The song produced by legendary and former member of EPMD, Erick Sermon, you’ll notice a familiar sample in that of the late, great Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize.”  Take a peek below, your comments ALWAYS welcome & MANDATORY, Enjoy!!!
